A Habitat ReStore (short for Recycle Store) helps people and the environment by collecting and reselling donated new and used building materials, equipment, appliances, and furniture. The proceeds allow Habitat for Humanity Prince George to locally build affordable housing for low income, eligible working families in our community. By collecting these materials a ReStore also helps in reducing landfill needs, thereby protecting the environment and encouraging recycling. ReStore provides a ready and friendly access for people to donate materials that otherwise would have landed in the waste dumps.
